Do I Need to Detox or Cleanse?
A 14 or 21-day Detox is a time to cleanse the body of toxins and waste and allow the body to heal. We ingest toxins from the products we use, food, water, and air every day, so it’s important to give your body a break periodically. Dr. Katie has designed a 14 and 21-day detox program that can be tailored to your needs and goals.
A detox or cleanse generally results in weight loss, increased energy, improved digestion, clearer thinking, disease prevention, and decreased pain and inflammation. Our program focuses on supporting the liver and elimination pathways – intestinal tract, skin, lungs, and kidneys. Eliminating unhealthy habits and replacing them with healthy ones is the ultimate goal you can expect to achieve after the 14 or 21-day detox.
Have you ever thought about doing a juice or water fast? There is an option to try one during the detox. Dr. Katie completed an internship in California at one of the leading fasting clinics in the country, The True North Health Center. She has the experience and knowledge that is needed to do a short-term fast safely and effectively. Fasting has been shown to reduce joint inflammation, increase energy, and promote weight loss. Fasting can deepen your cleanse and improve your detox success, but is not required.
A detox can jump start your weight loss, reduce cholesterol, improve insulin sensitivity, decrease blood pressure, reduce joint pain and inflammation, and much more. Our program is safe and will help you reach your health goals.
This detox is your chance to give your body a deep cleaning. Give your digestive tract and liver a vacation. Your body deserves it and will thank you when it is over. This is also a chance for you to take restful time for yourself – you deserve it, too. I had a great experience doing Dr.Katie’s detox. The first 4-5 days my intestinal issues had decreased significantly. My skin cleared up and had a great glow to it. I even ended up losing 7-8 pounds! The way she prepared and presented the information made it very easy to follow day by day. I learned what foods to buy and how they benefit your body. I have taken the information and implemented it into my daily eating habits after the detox. I have seen benefits from the detox physically and mentally. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it!
We are so happy that we went through the 21 day detox. At the beginning of the detox, we both wondered how we would find the strength to get through, but quickly learned that it really isn’t hard at all!! In fact, I’d say we have sustained about 80% of the overall program as part of our diet/daily routines. We both feel less bloated, more energized, and get better sleep.
